Leadership Training for Christ (LTC)
The youth of our congregation are encouraged to participate in Leadership Training for Christ. LTC stimulates spiritual, mental, and social growth in young men and women in grades 3 through 12. This growth is a result of developing skills in leadership, Bible knowledge, and Christian servant hood. Participants learn to live the servant leadership lifestyle.
The Great Plains Convention serves churches of Christ in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas and is held the Friday and Saturday before Easter. The theme for LTC changes every year and all events are centered around books of the Bible.
Typically, our youth participate in a majority of the events including, but not limited to: puppets, chorus, Bible Bowl, worship challenge, teaching challenge, song leading, t-shirt design, art, banner, bulletin board and Bible reading.
