Vacation Bible School 2018

Where:  Wheeler church of Christ 1001 Alan Bean Blvd, east side of HWY 83
When:  Saturday August 4, 2018
Time:  10 am to 4 pm, parents plan to arrive at 4 pm for a market tour, awards, the final Bible lesson and a free cookout for everybody!

Imagine what it was like to live and work in the bustling city of Jerusalem during the time of Jesus.  You'll hear the chatter of this puzzling prophet as you talked with shopkeepers.  You might work with people who had met Jesus, heard his teachings, or witnessed an actual miracle.  Perhaps you'd even be in the carpenter's shop as he created a cruel cross for Jesus' crucifixion.  While in this marketplace, your child will be immersed in Bible times culture, helping them (and you) explore what it might have been like during the time of Jesus.  They will experience traditions, taste foods, try new arts and crafts projects and discover that Jesus chose the cross because of his unfailing love for each of us.
